  Description: (Birth to 5 years, Families): Family Storytime is designed to promote early literacy in an environment that encourages the love of reading and life-long learning. These programs will highlight the five early practices that are essential for children to develop in order to learn how to read and write. You will learn songs, fingerplays, and action rhymes, as well as be introduced to wonderful stories. Free of charge. Drop in. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.

• Infant Mother Goose

  Location: Chinguacousy Library Branch

  Description: (Birth to 18 months): A fun, interactive session teaching parents songs and the art of storytelling for their infants. This program is held in cooperation with Bramalea-Gore-Malton-Springdale Ontario Early Years Centre. Free of charge. Drop in. Children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
