Peel District School Board
One of the largest school boards in Canada, Peel District currently has 221 schools, 95 right here in our community. Children entering grade 1 or grade 7 have the option of entering the French immersion or extended French program. Are you new to Canada or Peel Region? The Peel Board of Education has opened three welcome centres in Brampton, Mississauga, and Malton to answer all of you questions. Families can get assistance from staff in many languages.
Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board
One of the fastest growing school boards in Ontario,the DPCDSB includes the municipalities of Mississauga, Brampton, Bolton, Caledon, Orangeville and Dufferin County. Extended French program is offered to children entering grade 5 at designated schools in Dufferin-Peel where instructional time is equally divided between English and French.
