Brampton families have a wide choice of local summer camps to choose from! Is your little camper looking for an outdoor adventure? Or some indoor fun with arts, crafts or dance? There is something for everyone!
When choosing a camp, questions you may want to ask include:
- What is the ratio of instructors to campers?
- What activities does the camp offer? Are there special field trips? Camp themes?
- What are the drop-off/pick-up times? Are there extended care options? Is there an additional fee?
- What should you send with your camper? It’s common to send nut-free snacks and lunch, water and juice, a refillable water bottle, and sunscreen (for outdoor play) but ask ahead to be sure.
- Is busing available? Is there an additional fee for this service?
- Is there a discount for two or more siblings?
You may also want to start your search early. Many camps offer early bird discounts, and a lot sell out well before summer. I’ll be updating this page with camp information as I find it, so please continue to check back!
Art Camps
City of Brampton
The City of Brampton offers several art camp programs from its 3D Theatre Club (ages 5-7 for dance, design and drama) to its Art Studio & Film Studio programs for youth ages 11 – 14. Extended care available for most camps.
Beaux-Arts Brampton
The Beaux-Arts Brampton Non-Profit Cooperative is offering a Visual Arts Summer camp during July 23 to 27 and Aug. 13 to 17, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily for children 8 to 12. Campers will be introduced to a variety of art methods including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, and collage!

Dance Camps
Camp I.M.A.G.I.N.E
Summer Program 2012 at A New DAEI! Hosted by So You Think You Can Dance Canada head judge Tré Armstrong!! Ages: 3-5, 6-9, A.N.D 10-14! From July 9th to 20th participants will take part in Dance, Crafts, Drama, Music Appretiation, Visual Arts, Storytelling and Outdoor Fun! The day will see a lunch and 2 breaks (lunch/snacks not provided) and is sure to keep the participants busy! The program runs from 9am-4pm daily, with drop offs from 8-9am and pick up from 4-5pm.
