Downtown Brampton will be bustling with activities this Saturday when the Brampton Farmer’s Market kicks off its 2012 season! The downtown core will be filled with over 60 local vendors with their just-picked fruits and vegetables, fresh baked goods, farm fresh eggs, organic meats and cheeses, as well as beautifully crafted hand-made goods, live entertainment and lots of family fun!
Drop by Garden Square between 10:00 am and noon, Saturdays during the Farmers’ Market for some live local entertainment! This weekend take in music of The Marrieds, with Jane Carmichael (vocals, uke) and Kevin Kennedy (vocals, guitar). Next weekend, on June 23rd, The Rock School takes the stage. For a weekly look at the Brampton Farmers’ Market entertainment schedule, the City of Brampton has a complete list here!
Art In The Open
Another great attraction at the market is Art In The Open, in the Garden Square. It’s here’s where you’ll meet local artists and crafters, and have the opportunity to see and purchase their original hand-crafted artwork. The Brampton Arts Council has a list of the 2012 artists and artisans here!
