Brampton has declared May, Lyme Disease Awareness Month, and on May 19th, Chingaucousy Park will be the site of Brampton’s first Lyme Disease Awareness Walk/Run!
Has your life, or someone you know been affected by Lyme Disease? You’re not alone. Lyme disease is the most common tick-borne disease and now thought to be one of the fastest-growing infectious diseases in Canada and the USA.
Pack a picnic lunch and bring the family out for a day of fun, games, face painting and prizes in Chinguacousy Park! Volunteers and sponsors are welcomed!
When: Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm (registration from 9:30 am)
